Utah Maternity Photographer
I am a Utah Maternity Photographer and this maternity session at the Saltair turned out GORGEOUS. I will often shoot right near the Saltair, but sometimes I love to drive off by the marina and over by Black Rock. I like that it still looks beachy with the sand and water in the distance (the water used to be way closer – but goodbye Great Salt Lake I suppose), but also has the huge rock and some different shrubbery. We actually stopped off the side of the road for some of these photos on the walk to Black Rock! I am often amazed at what photo locations turn out stunning, I had never stopped there previously and now it’s one of my favorite spots!

Another fun thing I thought I’d add in here – this sweet couple (and several others) have asked me – do you have any advice?
I do have two little girls, and so I think a lot of first time parents are just looking for tips! Taking on the roll of a parent can be such a crazy change! There are so many things I like to tell first time parents, however – the most important thing is, everyone parents different. Everyone’s child responds different. Just because something works for someone doesn’t mean it’s going to work for you. And just because something does not work for someone, does not mean it won’t work for you. It’s a lot of trial and error. Be patient with yourselves. Try your best. Remember to feed yourself, and try to get some sleep. Parenthood and motherhood is so beautiful! Soak it all in, take lots of pictures (I can suggest that right? 😉 )
